The Full Stack Developer will be helping with our clients home-grown budgeting application for Marketing which will offer automated suggestions for a marketing groups spend. Responsibilities: Initial duties will mostly focused on backend development with Python and will then include full stack development later in the lifecycle. Because of this, the successful Full Stack Developer will mostly have mostly experience with back-end development with some work on the front end. Develop and maintain FastAPI and Django REST Framework APIs to facilitate communication. between the UI, the ML outputs and the server, ensuring smooth data flow and synchronization. Build responsive and interactive interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience across different devices and platforms. Create robust and scalable architectures that manage data processing, business logic, and system integration, with a focus on performance optimization and data management. Collaborate with the Data/Data Science teams to design, implement, and maintain Snowflake and PostgreSQL databases to store, manage, and retrieve data efficiently. Design and develop user-facing, React.js components that prioritize intuitive, visually appealing interfaces to enhance the user experience. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, front-end and back-end developers, and data scientists to translate application requirements into functional designs and ensure a cohesive user journey. Continuously optimize application performance and usability Required Skills At least 3 years of software development experience Prior experience as a back end python developer who has worked through the entire SDLC Exposure to front end development Ability to build FastAPI and Django REST Framework APIs using Python. Experience with relational database systems such as Snowflake and PostgreSQL as well as a knowledge of SQL and the use of ORMs. Experience working with a cloud provider (Highly preferred Google Cloud Platform or GCP) as they use the cloud for APIs Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in front-end development such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js and related libraries/frameworks. Prior experience with Jenkins for CI/CD Pipelines and ML Flow/AI Flow Experience with Docker for containerization Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders. Good communication skills are a must. Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe Highly Preferred Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related field, or comparable experience.
