OH - Hybrid MUST HAVE AN EXPERIENCE WITH Disaster Recovery Exercises We need someone with mainframe skills to support the Equipment Finance (Leasing) LOB. The business uses a portfolio management system called InfoLease by Solifi. InfoLease sends data to the mainframe that gets manipulated by MF programs and then sent to many downstream applications, i.e., GL, Invoicing, EDW, and ECIF. It would be a benefit if the person had InfoLease and/or Equipment Leasing experience. The preference would be located in Cincinnati and work from the MOB. The person retiring is located at the MOB. A hybrid onsite/remote work scenario is possible. Completely remote would be dependent on the individual and skill level. For instance, we would consider it if they had MF and InfoLease skills. Im not sure we would find that skill set in Cincinnati. The Equipment Finance team also has Rosemont, IL and Hunt Valley offices. Summary: Evaluate, design, and implement technology solutions to build and progress technology strategies within a line of business. In the majority of situations, the incumbent will be the application owner responsible for third-party, purchased software aligned with a LOB. Will have responsibility to work with vendor to understand upcoming changes, how the software fits into the technology roadmap and design plans to ensure business continuity and effectiveness. Will develop an understanding of the clients systems, how they are configured, how we need to reconfigure to meet the changes. If aligned to an agile squad may work closely with the product owner to ensure user stories are defined appropriately to develop effective technology solutions. In this role the incumbent may still be taking coaching and guidance from more senior platform engineers or others who have a deeper company and systems knowledge. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Four+ years of engineering or other IT work experience relevant to the position. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Willingness to work in a highly-collaborative environment. Solid understanding and significant experience with modern software development practices, tools, and/or hardware technologies. Understanding of IT security best practices. Expertise in one or more technical and/or functional domains relevant to the position. Technical skills per the specific positions requirements. Position Specific Requirements: 4+ years experience in IBM Mainframes technologies: TSO, Cobol, SAS, JCL, VSAM, IBM Mainframes Utilities Linux/UNIX (Including CHRON) Scripting MS SQL Studio Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must Results driven, attention to detail, ability to work independently Knowledge of file transfer Ability to do Analysis and Design Provide operational support and troubleshooting for the InfoLease 10 application and its corresponding integrations 24x7 On-call Support Assists with Audits and Annual Disaster Recovery Exercises Assist with InfoLease tasks including Data Analysis, Data Mapping, Coding, Testing, Specification creation, Connectivity, File Exchange/Transfers, Security, and Environment Management PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience working with the Solifi InfoLease application Work experience on System integration projects is a plus Knowledge of test automation tools and processes is a plus Agility methodology Exposure to DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible is a plus Exposure to ServiceNow RESPONSIBILITIES: Liaison with software vendor(s) for systems utilized by a particular line of business Stay abreast of upcoming changes and enhancements in vendors software and how those changes will impact the business. Assists with the line of business (or in support of a more senior Platform Engineer) to help design solutions to incorporate software changes and effectively works with business partners to ensure effective implementation Seek to gain full understanding of the business technology roadmap and make recommendations on continued utilization or elimination of current third party software solutions. If working on an agile team work closely with product owner to ensure that user stories have enough specificity and clarity for the software developers to effectively meet customer needs. Implement and maintain new features and capabilities while continuously improving the quality of our technical products and services Follow industry and organizational best practices and standards, and participate in company communities of practice to continuously refine and communicate them.
