The team is composed of Salesforce developers and AWS engineers. Looking for a Sr. Salesforce Developer for one of the Scrum teams. The candidate will be very hands-on doing the Salesforce development in their day-to-day job along with supporting their team Agile Scrum activities. They will work with the Product owners and develop their stories. They need experience with Apex, Lightning web components, Lightning development & integrations etc. This is an existing project. The client has a big application built on Salesforce. It's a custom application. Though it uses Sales cloud, it's a completely customized application with lots of custom development using Lightning web components and Apex. Project: Loan origination process. It captures the deals coming in and goes through the lifecycle of the deals. They also have multiple apps that are smaller in size (close to 18 applications in the Salesforce environment) and they are all config applications. This is the one where we need major development efforts. Cloud experience: Sales cloud, Community cloud (is a must), Salesforce CPQ experience is also critical in this role. Mostly they are looking for LWC development as a must have skill. Community cloud experience is a must have. Mostly the development is done through LWC. Experience with Java/ Python/ Selenium for automation is a plus. Mortgage/ FinTech industry experience is a plus, not required. Certifications: Salesforce Developer certifications would be ideal. At Least 5 years of Salesforce Development experience is required. The candidate will mainly work on LWC and Apex. Communication is a key. Being able to speak when required is what we look for. People who stay quiet in meetings may not be the right fit for our team. Would like the candidate's video to be on when we bring them onboard. 90% hands-on Sr. Development role. Some architecture experience (10%) will help. Job Description: Use modern tools, techniques, and methods to develop, modify, or update applications used by business units or infrastructure units. Lead, or play lead technical role in development teams' efforts to determine unit needs and business processes that are automated by the application. Participate in or review all of the steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify the software. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in new/revised applications or large/complex development projects. Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate. Serve as a Senior developer for an Agile team and actively participate in all Agile ceremonies. Participate in all team ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration and team retrospectives. Advanced proficiency in Object Oriented Design (OOD) and analysis. Advanced proficiency in application of analysis/design engineering functions. Advanced proficiency in application of non-functional software qualities such as resiliency, maintainability, etc. Advanced proficiency in advanced behavior-driven testing techniques. EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 5+ years of professional experience with the Salesforce ecosystem performing project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimize) of the Salesforce platform while delivering in an Agile framework. Strong understanding of Salesforce infrastructure, security and related cloud technologies. 5+ years of experience in Salesforce configuration and development, including Salesforce Lightning, Lightning web components, Aura components, Apex, Triggers, Web Services, Visualforce, REST APIs, Jest Test and migration tools. Working knowledge of Salesforce enhancements, releases and continuous integrations/deployments. Experience utilizing tools such as Visual studio, JIRA, Bitbucket etc At least two certifications in Salesforce (such as Salesforce Platform Developer1, Salesforce Platform Developer II , Platform App builder, Javascript Developer I etc.) highly preferred.
