Job title: Kubernetes engineer Location: Remote Duration: 12+ Months Job Description: Write software, from build system automation to automated deployment, to scale our engineering delivery Bring in continuous deployment practices to enhance our Agile posture Imagine, architect, develop, deploy, and evolve CI and CD systems for our cloud applications Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Industry standard tools and services Improve the container infrastructure platform for the company, based on Kubernetes Implement RBAC in Kubernetes Enhance delivery systems with Continuous Integration, using Argo CD Improve the monitoring and alert system Troubleshoot issues and solve problems where needed Create and nurture highly available systems on Kubernetes Write application deployment automation using industry-standard deployment and configuration tools Implement and stay abreast of Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling Document automation processes Work closely with key stakeholders to capture, analyze, and derive DevOps requirements Desired Technical Skills 10+ years hand-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker Hands-on experience in continuous delivery and continuous integration of CI/CD pipelines Experience with branching, code review and code analysis tools Proficient with Git, Git Flow Strong hands-on expertise in diverse DevSecOps concepts/tools, especially in Jenkins Ability to assess the requirement, and environment and suggest right tools/technologies Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies like Docker Expertise in Debugging and providing solutions and workarounds Desired Business Skills Excellent communication, presentation, and coding abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong leadership skills Property and Casualty Insurance experience (preferred, not required) Education Bachelors or masters degree from a reputed institute.
