Remote Senior SAP APO S4 PPDS Sr Consultant Start :- 2nd week of Jan -for 6 months to one year(Duration) Only US Citizen Job Description As a Senior SAP APOS4 PPDS Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and delivering end to end solutions for the production planning and detailed scheduling PPDS module of SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization APO or S4 HANA . You will work closely with the client and the project team to understand the business requirements, design and configure the PPDS solution, and provide functional and technical guidance and support. You will also leverage your expertise in ePPDS, the embedded version of PPDS in SAP S4HANA, to enable the integration and optimization of the planning processes across the supply chain. QUALIFICATION Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related field 12 TO 15 years of experience in SAP PPDS and ePPDS, with at least 3 full life cycle implementations Strong knowledge of PPDS and ePPDS functionalities, features, and best practices, as well as the integration with SAP ECC, SAP S4HANA, and SAP IBP Experience in working with various industries, such as manufacturing, consumer goods, chemicals, or pharmaceuticals, and understanding their PPDS and ePPDS requirements and challenges. Experience in leading and managing PPDS and ePPDS projects, teams, and stakeholders, and delivering high quality solutions within budget and timeline. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently or in a team. Certification in SAP PPDS or ePPDS is preferred but not required. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the PPDS solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment, ensuring alignment with the clients business objectives and best practices Provide functional and technical expertise on PPDS and ePPDS, including master data, planning strategies, heuristics, optimization, scheduling, pegging, alerts, and integration with other SAP modules and systems Experience in implementing Block Planning , Setup sequence and Optimization, Production Planning Optimizer Conduct workshops, interviews, and analysis to gather and document the business requirements, processes, and scenarios for PPDS and ePPDS Develop functional specifications, test scripts, user manuals, and training materials for PPDS and ePPDS Manage and resolve issues and risks related to PPDS and ePPDS, and provide timely and effective communication to the client and the project team Mentor and coach junior PPDS consultants and provide knowledge transfer and best practices sharing Support the business development and presales activities for PPDS and ePPDS opportunities.
