The Mint also produces and sells numismatic coins, American Eagle gold and silver bullion coins, and national medals. The USM Sales and Marketing Division is responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle of manufactured products. The Sales and Marketing mission requires the implementation and testing of a SaaS solution to support its e-commerce goals. A comprehensive testing program's impact on the US Mint (USM) Sales and Marketing mission and SaaS solution cannot be overestimated. The Sales and Marketing business processes must remain functional, reliable, and available to support USMs mission and Sales and Marketing objectives. Sales and Marketing require full life cycle testing support to validate and verify all requirements are met, testing cycles are scheduled and coordinated, testing results are tracked and reported, and all testing exit criteria are satisfied. Given the customer-facing requirement of the SaaS solution, system performance constraints mustnt adversely impact the user experience. As a result, identifying USMs peak day performance volume requirements and validating that the requirements are met will be key to the go-live approval for the overall SaaS solution. To this end, ECS will support USM by validating that performance criteria are included in the test cases and observed during this test phase, and issues are logged and addressed before release into production. ECS will assist USM with the planning and coordination of the performance and stress testing phase. The Performance Testing Engineer is responsible for: Work with the Mint customer to plan for load and stress testing and monitor the progress of the SaaS solution. Work in conjunction with the Mint customer to ensure: SaaS is utilizing the correct peak-day order volume for testing. Results are acceptable against the criteria. Issues identified are remediated before going live. Collaborate with the Mint customer to ensure all parties are prepared for load and stress testing. Load and stress test assistance support activities include: Assist with test scheduling and coordination Develop a readiness checklist that documents USMs expectations Review the test plan to ensure: The test plan specifies different user groups and scenarios that will be required for load and stress testing Testing emulates a realistic load that will correlate with realistic usage Test criteria are written in a manner that results will indicate whether or not the solution can be accepted and deployed Upon completion of load and stress testing, this role will coordinate and facilitate a test exit review with the Mint PMO, SaaS and any stakeholders and executives, where all deliverables will be formally accepted and concurrence obtained to proceed to the next phase. Collaborate with USM and the SaaS vendor to ensure all requirements reflect the user, functional, integration, security, Section 508, and performance requirements for this transactional eCommerce-based solution and that the requirements are achievable as well as testable. Required Skills: At least 10 years of experience of which 6 years must be in a specialized area in the IT field. Specialization must include performance testing experience performance load criteria development developing functional requirements with complex integrated IT systems Bachelors degree. With a Master's Degree in the same areas as the Bachelor's Degree requirement, 8 years of general experience of which at least 4 years must be specialized. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Excellent communication skills, with both technical and non-technical personnel at all levels of management. Able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Must have one of the following certifications or the equivalent throughout the life of the task order: ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, CSPO, IIBA, PMI, PBA, and Agile Analysis Certification Desired Skills: Identifying and developing performance load for test case development Automated performance testing experience Experience with ALM and Octane tools.
