Role:-Senior UI Engineer (Streamlit/Dash) Location:-Fully remote Video interview Role Title: Senior UI Engineer (Streamlit/Dash) We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UI Engineer to lead the development of interactive front ends for our analytical applications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI development, proficiency in Streamlit, Flask, Dash, and experience with data platforms like Snowflake. Responsibilities: Collaboration and Requirement Gathering: Partner closely with S&OP business stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives for analytical applications. Translate business needs into effective and intuitive user interface designs. Technology Expertise: Utilize expertise in Streamlit, Flask, Dash, and Snowflake to architect and build interactive front ends for analytical applications. Stay updated on the latest advancements in UI technologies and recommend relevant improvements to our tech stack. User Interface Design: Lead the design and implementation of visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces. Work collaboratively with UX designers to ensure a seamless and delightful user experience. Data Visualization: Implement interactive charts, graphs, and data visualizations to effectively convey complex agricultural analytics. Ensure optimal performance and responsiveness of the front-end applications. Integration with Snowflake: Integrate the UI with Snowflake, ensuring smooth data retrieval and interaction with the analytics platform. Collaborate with backend engineers to establish efficient data pipelines. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of the front-end applications to identify and address any bugs, usability issues, or performance bottlenecks. Ensure a high level of quality and reliability in the developed interfaces. Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation for UI components and functionalities. Provide clear guidelines for future maintenance and updates. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a UI Engineer with a focus on building interactive front ends. Expertise in Streamlit, Flask, Dash, and Snowflake. Strong understanding of data visualization principles. Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional team Additional Details: Exclusive Req: This is for a UI Developer - someone who has expertise with Streamlit, Flask, and Dash. Communication skills are super important as this person will be interacting with the business to gather requirements and will also be responsible for helping mentor other UI developers on the team. Additional details: CHS needs a Front-End Engineer to build interactive front ends for analytic applications. This position will be working closely S&OP business units for requirements. Advanced expertise with Streamlit is required, someone who can also help train and upskill their team on Streamlit. Application is currently bringing information from ERP to Snowflake then DataIku connects to Snowflake runs the different ML algorithms they have selected, writes them back into Snowflake then generate a CSV from there e-mailing out to current demand planners. They would like to have an app that they can go into and edit their forecast and then write that data back into Snowflake to keep history of what their forecast is in Snowflake and integrate it into their ERP system. Using the front end to tweak formulas and meta data so they need this person to be able to create a interactive UI for this application.
