Role:-Software Engineer (java) Location: Desmoines, Iowa - Hybrid onsite will get preference Duration: 6 months with intent to extend //-/- Must Have:- Strong: Angular/React Proficient: TypeScript/JavaScript Java Automated testing 2. Why is this position open -How is it impacting the business Non-Qualified IT is in the midst of restricting our Product organization. The new product teams are revealing some gaps in skillset and overall capacity. We are looking to augment our staffing model to better align with the 2024 strategy. 3. Please describe the project work and what do day-to-day responsibilities look like: - Attending a daily stand up and working alongside a small team (up to 6) of other engineers to support and enhance our customer facing web applications. 4. If a candidate does not have all the technologies listed, would there be technologies you would consider similar and/or transferable for this position -Strong experience with an Object Oriented language and JavaScript MAY be substitutable. 5. Please provide background information on the application(s) this worker will be involved with:- Primary focus would be developing Angular and/or React based applications. These applications are powered by Java Spring Boot APIs that will also need attention. Salesforce is a growing area of data and familiarity with that would be a plus. 6. What skills are you looking for in the ideal candidate Preferred 1. Familiarity with Angular and/or React (along with proficiency in Typescript/JavaScript) 2. Proficiency in Java 3. Strong understanding and preference for automated testing Nice to Have 1. Familiarity with Spring Boot Framework 2. Familiarity with Salesforce Development 3. Familiarity with AWS (especially client side application hosting) 7. What is the size and culture of the team Smaller sized scrum team (<6) working in a highly collaborative agile environment. 10. Is this role on-site or remote On-site/hybrid in Des Moines preferred. Will consider remote. 12. How long is this contract expected to last Is there a possibility of extension beyond this date 6 months, with intent to extend based on productivity, business need, and budget. 13.
