Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements: Bachelors degree plus at least ten years related experience Experience as Database Administrator in SQL Server Environment Experience supporting database sizes about 200GB to 2TB in size Experience supporting multiple instances of SQL 2000-SQL 2014 in production environment with components including SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Clusters. Experience with Database Management and database monitoring tools such as DMVs, PerfMon, Profiler, Extended Events, third party tools such as Spotlight, Foglight , Performance Analyzer, Redgate SQL Monitor, Idera Diagnostic Manager, Idera SQLSafe , Litespeed Experience designing and documenting processes and procedures, database migration plans, database upgrade plans as per business requirements. Experience in designing, configuring and maintaining High Availability and DR Solutions. Powershell, C# or .NET Scripting is a plus Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be detailed-oriented, results-driven, highly energetic and motivated. Able to communicate efficiently and effectively to technical and non technical audiences. Must be highly organized, detail oriented, extremely responsive and able to prioritize a large number of tasks. Ability to provide guidance to team members to meet deadlines and objectives Strong commitment towards SDLC/Change Management Principles Knowledge of data quality, data management and data testing strategies and practices. Experienced with SQL installation on standalone and cluster servers across multi-subnet environments AWS/Microsoft Azure Services, Virtualization, Storage Area Networks, Windows Server Administration.
