Data modelling is required. Using the IDA is optional. Work with Customer Architecture team and data modeling team to incorporate standards in development and design Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements, translating business needs into efficient ETL solutions. Implement best practices for data integration, data quality, and data governance within the Datastage environment. Data modeling using IDA and getting sign offs from Architecture team related to the same. Perform performance tuning and optimization of ETL jobs to enhance data processing efficiency and minimize processing time. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ETL developers, ensuring adherence to established design principles and industry standards JD : Skills 10-15 years of experience in ETL/Data warehouse space. Strong in ETL Design and Development using IBM infosphere DataStage Must be hands-on. Strong Data Modeling experience. Dimension Modeling, Star and Snowflake, is a must. Modeling experience of chat data is an advantage. Architecture and Design experience is mandatory. Strong SQL Knowledge PL-SQL, Decent Unix/Linux skills are must. Basic understanding of JIRA workflow and Confluence is preferable. Should be willing to work on onsite-offshore model. Should be able to lead offshore team of 6-7 developers. Role and Scope Interacting with the client team to capture requirements. Creating Data Model. Creating Source Target Mapping. Creating overall architecture of ETL development Leading offshore development team. Understanding existing ETL platform. Liaising with project manager and key stake holders.
