Job Description:- Mandatory:- 5+ years Digital Video engineering or deployment experience Hands-on Synamedia Explorer Controllers (EC) and/or CommScope Digital Access Controller (DAC) (close competitor ok) Hands-on with Synamedia VSM and DCM/vDCM experience (close competitor ok) 3+ years Video Operations or Advanced engineering roles 5+ Years Unix/Linux, 5+ yrs Cisco Networking, 3+ Years Scripting Strong w/Cisco routing & switching technologies Strong w/ config, install, test, decomm, migrate, turn up new clients and then providing post deployment support Able to explain (written, verbal) how video distribution system components work together Good written and spoken communications skills. Devices include: Synamedia Explorer Controllers (EC), CommScope Digital Access Controller (DAC), Synamedia DCM/vDCM, Rosa NMS, VSM, D9036 Encoder, D98xx IRDs, MEG, Power Vu/PNC/vPNC/PCAM, VDS-TV, OMD, Synamedia Explorer Controller, Quadrature Amplified Modulators (QAM), Digital Ad Insertion Telestream Vantage / iQ Video Quality Cisco UCS Cisco Switching & Routing HPE Server Hardware / Management ASI/SDI Routing (Multiple Vendors) DVB-S/C/T Modulation ABR & DRM Support multiple phases of the systems life cycle from design to support highly collaborative nature, self-starter, robust appetite to learn and deploy solutions Strong communication and documentation skills are vital, in addition to a passion for delivering high-quality products.
