They ae looking for a techno/ functional consultant to provide support specifically in areas of Financial Aid and Advising within Oracles PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. Also, experience in Advising is required to support the implementation of Stellic. Additionally, expertise with FAFSA is required. The start date for this role is 2/1/24. Our clients office is closed for the holidays for the next two weeks and consultant interviews for this role will be completed in mid-January . Please return the completed skills matrix (attached). Due to the specific requirements for this role, candidates without Financial Aid and Advising within Oracles PeopleSoft Campus Solutions will not be screened. Work location Remote from the USA Duration 3 months Start Date 2/1/24 Work Hours 40 hours/week, standard 8 am 5 pm eastern time. Communication skills Excellent this is a customer facing role. Background Check Required Prior to hire, applicants must pass Criminal Background check. Overview: The consultant will serve as an extension of the clients Student Application Services team to maintain and support the FAFSA Simplification Project and new Advising initiative within Oracle PeopleSofts Campus Solutions. They will collaborate with the Financial Aid, Advising, Student Application Services, and PeopleSoft Development Teams, The consultant will ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruption during system changes and upgrades. Additionally, the consultant will provide expertise for new academic advising initiatives, including third-party vendor integrations. Requirements: Bachelors degree plus 7-10 years of experience with PeopleSoft. Specific experience within higher education. Experience as a techno/functional consultant to provide support specifically in areas of Financial Aid and Advising within Oracles PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. Experience in Advising is required to support the implementation of Stellic. Expertise with the FAFSA is required. Responsibilities include: Identify and address modifications and processes impacted by FAFSA Simplification. Collaborate with PeopleSoft development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Develop and execute test plans for revised financial aid functionality. Apply Financial Aid functionality with FAFSA Simplification changes. Modify configurations, reports, queries, forms, and workflows as needed. Provide knowledge transfer for new hires. Offer feedback on Financial Aid optimization and best practices. Document workarounds for system limitations or defects. Maintain thorough documentation during FAFSA Simplification support. Respond to break-fix issues and assist with ticket monitoring. Consult with Academic Advising team on transitioning to a third-party vendor. Assist in implementing changes to Academic Advising processes. Advise on data and process impacts resulting from the move to a third-party vendor. Identify modifications impacted by new advising SIS efforts. Collaborate with PeopleSoft development team and other ITS teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues during data migration. Keywords: access management |
