| Position: Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer Location: Bellevue, WA (Onsite) Experience: Mid to senior level Client: IOPEX Technologies / Amazon Visa: Only GC and Citizens Duration: Long-term contract Description As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will support the team to create insights, dashboards, and reports that help leadership make better decisions in design, production and manufacturing. Primarily, this role will be responsible for deep-diving data from 3rd party enterprise systems. This person will create self-service dashboards and work closely with data engineers on reporting automation. Key job responsibilities Use data to create insights for production operation leaders, including detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions recommendations. Write compelling narratives to share data stories with stakeholders and equip them to make informed decisions and plans. Provide data for weekly and monthly business reviews, which include business process optimization indicators, operation indicators, and production planning recommendations. You can take a proactive approach to defining new metrics, reports, and dashboards. Develop self-service dashboards using Tableau, and Quicksight. Browse available data sources to understand the business processes and enhance analytics events logging. Work closely with the data engineering team to design, execute and maintain reporting modules, and lead automation of recurring reports. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of experience in analyzing and interpreting data with relational databases. 2+ Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools. 2+ years experience with writing complex SQL queries. 2+ Experience with data modelling, warehousing and designing ETL pipelines in AWS.
