Azure AI SECURITY ANALYST Washington DC As a Senior Security Analyst specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI), you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our AI systems and data against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. You will be responsible for analyzing AI-specific security risks, implementing protective measures, and ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our AI projects. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technology, cybersecurity, and the ability to adapt to rapidly evolving security challenges Minimum Qualifications Advanced degree in information security, artificial intelligence, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field of study plus a minimum of 8 years of progressive information security work experience OR Bachelors degree in information security, artificial intelligence, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field of study and minimum 10 years of progressive information security work experience in regulated industries. Candidate must possess at least 2 of the certifications below. Having more than 3 is a plus CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA, CEH, Azure Security Certification, GIAC certifications (e.g., GCIH, GLEG, etc.) or equivalent. Proficiency in AI and machine learning frameworks, libraries and tools (e.g., LangChain, TensorFlow, Pinecone, PyTorch, scikit-learn) including their pros and cons. Working experience with AI Risk Management frameworks, MLOps methodologies including design documentation, unit, integration testing and source code version control. Experience with AI model deployment and serving frameworks (e.g., SageMaker, Azure ML) Work Management Skills Navigates through obstacles and challenges effectively and demonstrates commitment to deliver successful results. Ability to quickly grasp how new technologies work and how they might be applied to achieve business goals. Analytical skills that enable synthesis of inputs from many sources and allow for strategic thinking and tactical implementation. Interpersonal skills that create openness and trust among colleagues. Facilitation and conflict management skills that enable effective working relationships. Spoken and written communications that are compelling, convincing, and reassuring, and skills to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders. Relationship Management Skills Demonstrates ability to represent the security team successfully to internal audiences. Leverages contacts and knows where to go for information to effectively accomplish responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: 1. AI Security Assessment: Craft pivotal security requirements for designing and implementing LLMs and validate they are met. Delivery of information security risk assessments of LLMs including supporting security architecture function with threat modeling of LLMs, appropriate tiering of N tier LLM platforms, design of infrastructure security controls to protect LLM components, etc., identifying vulnerabilities, potential risks, and compliance issues related to AI models, data sets, and algorithms. Provide guidance on path to remediation for identified security risks. 2. Threat Analysis: Monitor emerging AI-related threats, attacks, and security trends. Assess the impact of these threats on our AI systems and devise strategies to mitigate them. 3. Secure AI Deployment: Collaborate with AI developers to ensure secure AI model deployment and integration with various applications, services, and platforms. 4. AI Model Testing: Support the Security Assurance and Application Security functions to develop and implement security testing procedures for AI models, including but not limited to penetration testing, code review, data assessment, etc. 5. Ethics & Privacy: Stay updated on relevant data privacy and AI regulations. Ensure AI solutions adhere to ethical standards and compliance requirements. 6. Data Security: Implement data security and access controls to protect sensitive AI data and models. 7. Incident Response: Support the Security Monitoring and Incident Response function to develop and maintain AI-specific incident response plans and coordinate responses to AI-related security incidents. 8. AI Training and Awareness: Support the Security Awareness & Culture function to educate employees and stakeholders on AI security best practices, threats, and mitigation strategies. 9. Security Documentation & Accreditation: Maintain detailed documentation of AI security processes, policies, and risk assessments, and help in accreditation systems. 10. Security Solutions: Evaluate, recommend, and implement AI-specific security tools and solutions to enhance the protection of AI systems. 11. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including AI developers, data scientists, and IT security, to ensure a holistic approach to AI security.
