| Hi, Please find job description below; Visas: (No H1b if the candidate is strong) (USC and GC are preferred) As always, Client need to see two end client manager references in which one can be validated through LI and the consultants LI as well The vendor will be doing a technical video screening Title: Unix/Linux Systems Administrators (2) Type: 6-month Contract to hire Location: On-site from day one for 5 days a week in Cincinnati, Ohio or Cleveland, Ohio Client: Manufacturing Interview: Virtual Job Overview Our large US based manufacturing client is seeking to hire 2 Unix / Linux Administrators who will be responsible for planning, installation, configuration, monitoring, and on-going support of the Unix Server environment. This person should be skilled in installation and configuration of Unix based physical and virtual servers, patching and monitoring of Unix based environments, support of application software stacks running on Unix based servers and can develop and code shell scripts as needed for automation and monitoring. They will also be working with application developers to investigate and resolve technical issues. Required Qualifications: 4+ years of experience as a Unix & Linux Administrator Strong scripting experience PowerShell, Unix, Linux Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong technical skills with ability to self-manage projects/issues. Preferred qualifications: RHEL related certification (RHCSA/RHCE/RHCA) 3-5 years minimum of Linux and Unix experience in a production environment Proficient in supporting Apache with Tomcat applications or equivalent environment Working experience with messaging platforms/environments, e.g. MQSeries/DecMesssageQ/ActiveMQ Distributed printing, eg.
