L2 Network Security Deployment Engineer Duration: 8 months Location: Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid onsite, 2-3 days weekly) Interview: Skype NEED ONLY HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES. Complex global environment Previous experience in banking/financial services industry Local Candidates have an advantage. Certifications are required . Description: Current expectation is Hybrid onsite (2-3 days weekly) in Jacksonville, FL Prior experience in complex global environment highly preferred . Previous experience in banking/financial services industry highly preferred . Network Security Level 2 Engineer . Five to seven years of industry experience in networking environment with an emphasis on Network Security; One (1) to two (2) years experience with Linux/UNIX ; Basic networking technology skills along with a good understanding of cross platform technologies; Certified security engineer (typically CCSA or comparable); Certified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCNA or comparable); Technical ability to implement Firewall change requests and any potential related L2/L3 router changes; Technical ability to create and install Checkpoint objects for initial firewall policy; Technical ability to build and configure Firewall devices ( Checkpoint, Juniper and Cisco ); Technical ability to build and configure Proxies ( McAfee, Bluecoat) and IDS ; Technical ability to provide basic troubleshooting in security environment ( Checkpoint, Juniper and Cisco ); Technical ability to provide basic troubleshooting for connectivity issue. Basic understanding of Ethernet, Spanning Tree, TCP/IP, Routing (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) ; Technical ability to modifying routing protocols including NAT. Basic understanding of IOS/operating systems and CatOS ; Good understanding of ITIL and service management principals; Good ability to follow and documented deployment processes; Experience with change request management systems; Experience with network monitoring / management tools/ analysis tools; Experience with liaising with carriers and vendors for installations. Excellent analytical skills to evaluate problem. Good communication skills, fluent in local language and English (written/verbal).
