| Job Title JIRA Lead Client McKENSEY Duration 26 WEEKS Location US REMOTe Our client is looking for a JIRA Leas consultant on a fully- remote basis! In this role, your primary responsibility will be to lead the administration and setup of JIRA boards within their organization. You will play a crucial role in optimizing the use of JIRA for project management, issue tracking, backlog, and collaboration. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of JIRA capabilities, best practices, and will work closely with various teams to ensure efficient utilization of JIRA for project delivery. JIRA Administration: -Administer and maintain JIRA instances, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. -Configure and customize JIRA workflows, issue types, screens, and fields to align with project requirements. -Manage user permissions, roles, and groups to ensure proper access controls. JIRA Board Setup: -Lead the setup and configuration of JIRA boards based on project specifications. -Collaborate with project managers and teams to understand their workflows and tailor JIRA boards accordingly. -Implement and optimize agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) within JIRA boards. Integration and Plugin Management: -Integrate JIRA with other tools and systems as needed for seamless information flow. -Evaluate, install, and manage JIRA plugins to enhance functionality and meet specific project requirements. User Training and Support: -Provide training and support to users on JIRA functionalities and best practices. -Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to JIRA configuration and usage Documentation: -Maintain comprehensive documentation of JIRA configurations, workflows, and procedures. -Create user guides and documentation to facilitate efficient use of JIRA across teams.
