Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field. Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals like algorithms and data structures, software design, design patterns, object-oriented programming. Experience with development of REST APIs in multithreaded applications and microservices. Experience with databases and SQL, as well as persistence frameworks like Hibernate. Knowledge of NoSQL databases is a plus. Experience with unit test frameworks like Mockito. Ability to perform unit testing and integration testing of the developed code, debugging and defect fixes. Experience in Identify and resolve backend issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner. Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, as well as containerization and cluster management technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
