Synopsis of alignment: Agile model and Sprint planning Core Java, Java8 Spring Boot & Microservices, Junit (unit testing), Integrating with APIs, and doing integration testing. Security and Performance Testing. Splunk to monitor the logs and production support. Build & Deploy: Git (check-in and checkout code) Jenkins(CI/CD pipeline) Docker image and deploys to cloud env. (AWS, Azure) Databases: SQL - Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL NoSQL - Mango dB, Couchbase Cache: worked on Internal cache and external distribute Redis cache. AWS services: S3, Lambda, Code build, Far gate, MySQL, SQS, SNS, IAM Overview: Primary Function Designs develops, modifies, debugs, and evaluates programs for functional or operational areas Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements May train users in the conversion and implementation of the system Additional Requirements Extensive experience along the full software development life cycle Extensive experience applying code management principles Experience: Eight (8-10) years of relevant technical or business work experience -Experience in data warehouse development using at least some of the following tools SQL, Oracle, Linux/UNIX, IBM DataStage (Info sphere), and/or Java (Spring). Basic experience with data modeling including entity relationship and dimensional models. Data profiling and data analysis with SQL. Experience with agile project methodologies including Agile, SCRUM, and Kanban. As a Lead Applications Developer, you will help build and deliver a new enterprise API platform and web applications while leveraging cloud-hosted technologies. You will be involved in all aspects of the development process including designing, configuring, modifying, and debugging. You will also be involved in the evaluation of various microservices and APIs. Occasionally you will be assisting in non-programming aspects of the development process including definition of user requirements, testing, deployment, documentation, and support. Minimum (must have): Experience building and supporting back-end web services: APIs (REST), Swagger, Postman, and contributing to microservice design. Angular or similar front-end experience. Agile software development including scrum and test-driven development. Experience with object-oriented programming. Ability to use problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Demonstrates a general understanding of the full software development life cycle and code management principles. Ability to work and integrate with multiple teams.
