As the Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our ecommerce platform, with a particular focus on implementing and optimizing lighting components. You will be responsible for leading a team of developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of ecommerce projects.Contribute to a successful migration from a legacy Salesforce Ecommerce Cloud to the latest version. Continuous communication and collaboration between development and discovery teams are key for a seamless transition. Key Responsibilities Strong skills in gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements for the migration project. Strong skills in understanding and documenting B2B-specific requirements, including buyer roles, purchasing workflows, and integration points with ERP systems. Experience in analyzing and planning integrations with back-end systems, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems commonly used in B2B environments. Knowledge of B2B scalability requirements and the ability to plan for the potential growth and expansion of the ecommerce platform. Understanding of B2B customer personalization needs and the ability to design a platform that allows for personalized experiences based on customer roles and preferences. Skills in migrating complex B2B customer data, including account hierarchies, custom pricing data, and other B2B-specific information. Ability to collaborate closely with B2B sales teams to understand their unique needs and incorporate them into the migration plan. Familiarity with any industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements relevant to B2B transactions. Development Phase Skills ( Declarative) In-depth understanding of B2B commerce concepts, workflows, and features specific to Salesforce Commerce Cloud for B2B. Proficiency in developing solutions for managing complex customer hierarchies, account structures, and customized pricing models typical in B2B environments. Experience with the development and customization of Quote-to-Cash processes, including quoting, pricing negotiations, and order management tailored for B2B transactions. Skills in building and optimizing custom catalogs and pricing structures to accommodate the specific needs of B2B clients. Ability to integrate with multiple sales channels, including sales representatives, distributors, and other stakeholders involved in the B2B sales process. Expertise in implementing robust security measures and access controls to ensure that sensitive B2B data is handled securely. Capability to implement and customize business rules and workflows specific to B2B processes, such as approval workflows for large transactions. Development Skills: ( Non-Declarative) Salesforce Commerce Cloud Scripting: Proficient in server-side JavaScript and scripting within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud environment, including the development of server-side controllers and pipelines. Proficiency in server-side JavaScript and scripting within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud environment, including controllers, pipelines, and ISML (Internet Store Markup Language) Customization using SFCC APIs: Ability to leverage and customize Salesforce Commerce Cloud APIs for both frontend and backend development, ensuring seamless integration with other systems. SiteGenesis or SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture): Experience with the existing site structure and understanding of how it integrates with the current Salesforce Commerce Cloud version. Strong skills in frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on creating responsive and interactive user interfaces. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, which may be utilized in the latest version of Salesforce Commerce Cloud. Proficiency in developing integrations with external systems, payment gateways, and third-party APIs using server-side and client-side technologies. Skills in scripting and developing tools or scripts for data migration from the legacy system to the latest Salesforce Commerce Cloud version. Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and skills in managing deployments, ensuring that code changes are properly versioned and deployed. Lightning Web Components (LWC): Strong skills in developing Lightning Web Components, which are part of the Salesforce Lightning Platform. This includes creating reusable components for the user interface. Aura Components (optional): Knowledge of Aura Components, Salesforce's previous component model, as there may be a need to work with both LWC and Aura components during the migration.
