Role: Web QA tester Location: Sunnyvale, CA(Work from office 5 days/week) Duration: 12+ Months Job Description: Job Summary: Test web content across multiple browsers and product lines. Execute tests across multiple browsers and across multiple devices. Requirements: Passionate about web testing. Leverage experience testing web applications on multiple platforms Debug issues and open bugs with detail logs and analysis Experience with gray/black box testing Champion the customer experience Familiarity with browsers (chrome, Firefox, safari) and video content testing Work with QA leads to understand test areas and design test plan. Pre-screening questionnaire: Cross-browser testing experience feature difference between Chrome, Safari and Firefox Do you know layout engines (Webkit, Chromium, gecko) in browsers Web/browser features will you test to exercise the fullest of computer/laptop capabilities (Camera, A/V, WebGL etc..).lookup: WebRTC Bug tracking tools used In a bug report what critical details will you include Besides textual data that you will enter, what additional detail will you provide to give more clarity to developers As a QA engineer, how will you priortize How will go about if you discover a bug in an unassigned task Tested touchbar and its feature/responsiveness with respect to content on a browser Test a content on different types of browsers, which will you use (Youtube, Netflix, twitch, eg.
