Job Title: Sr. NLP Engineer Job Location: Remote (100%) Experience Required: 10+ Yrs. Position Type: Contract The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of experience with the last couple of years exclusively in NLP (Natural Language Processing) , especially preprocessing text data using NLP libraries. Please find the JD attached with specific skills. Give special focus to NLP pre-processing techniques as this is the only question they asks in the interview. I will first give them a test in NLP tasks and if only they are able to solve it we'll have the next call. Overview: Seeking a highly skilled NLP Engineer with expertise in NLP techniques and a sharp ability to understand patterns in data, translating this insight into valuable business intelligence. Responsibilities: 1. Data Preprocessing: Implement advanced data preprocessing techniques for NLP tasks, including but not limited to lemmatization, n-grams generation, stemming, and translation. Clean, sanitize, and format raw textual data to enhance the performance of downstream NLP models. 2. Model Development: Design and develop linear models, ensemble models, and neural networks for various NLP applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NLP models into larger AI systems. 3. Algorithm Optimization: Fine-tune and optimize preprocessing algorithms to improve efficiency and performance. Stay current with the latest advancements in NLP and apply state-of-the-art techniques to enhance model accuracy. 4. Machine Learning Models: Apply machine learning principles to build and deploy scalable models for real-world applications. Evaluate and compare the performance of different models to determine the most effective solutions. 5. Knowledge of ChatGPT: Demonstrate a good understanding of models like ChatGPT and related architectures. Collaborate with researchers and engineers to integrate and enhance ChatGPT-like models in specific applications. Utilize advanced vectorization techniques to represent textual data in a format suitable for machine learning models. Engage in prompt engineering to optimize model behavior and response in NLP applications. Qualifications: Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in NLP, with a focus on data preprocessing techniques. Strong proficiency in creating and implementing linear models, ensemble models, and neural networks. Familiarity with ChatGPT and similar models, with the ability to integrate them into custom applications. Experience with vectorization techniques and prompt engineering. Solid programming skills in languages such as Python, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, nltk). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
