Role: Informatica ETL Developer Location: Boston, MA Hybrid 4 Days in a Week-Local/Nearby Only Mode of interview: Video Duration : 3 Month Only Visa: GC/USC Only Candidate must Have: IICS or IDMC (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services OR Informatica Data Management Cloud) AWS is a big plus. Must have Redshift or Snowflake Property and Casualty Insurance Job Summary The ETL/ELT developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing modifications to our existing Data Warehouse and Data Mart ETL Loads and processing for the Data Services team. This will include the ability to perform these duties in our current on-premises environment; DB2 and AIX as well as to have the ability to modernize our development code for the future to migrate to AWS and Cloud tools and data structures (i.e.. Snowflake/RedShift). This team maintains all application code required to load & balance our data warehouse daily and serves as the source of truth for historical data for the enterprise. Activities will involve participating in Business Requirements review, assistance with system specifications, development of technical specifications, development of code changes in Informatica Power Center as well as Informatica Cloud, unit testing and implementation in production. The developer must follow the defined Informatica development standards and best practices and attend code reviews to ensure compliance. Knowledge, Skills and Education Required 3-7 years ETL design, development - experience in Informatica preferred. Experience in Database development using DB2, SQL Server & Snowflake/RedShift Exposure to Data Warehousing a plus Experience using a software development life cycle (SDLC) methodology. Analytical, problem solving and testing skills. Effective oral & written communication skills Ability to multi-task Attention to detail and quality. Must be a team player. Knowledge of Jira and AWS components & tools Desire to Learn and Grow Scripting Tools (i.e.. Python) Experience in using APIs. Data Modeling Principles Working in Property and Casualty Insurance industry is a plus. Stored Procedures/Unix/Perl script knowledge is a plus.
