From: Subodh Kumar, TEK INSPIRATIONS LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Job Title: ServiceNow Developer Location: Manassas, VA (Hybrid) Need Local Duration: 612 Months 10+ years ServiceNow dev. must have strong ServiceNOW with GRC Essential Job Functions Sr. ServiceNow Developer This developer will be responsible at the pod level for platform development and execution of program increments to deliver Epics, Features and Stories. They will collaborate with other pod members and multiple operations teams to ensure a seamless transition of support and drive all future enhancements. They will support innovation, efficiency, and long-term growth of the service management platform and the capabilities therein. Must have experience in multi-tenancy (domain separation) Facilitate rollout of new applications and modules ServiceNow configuration and customization including, but not limited to: Client Scripts, UI policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, Business Rules, workflow administration, report setup, applications and data imports Deliver new integrations and automations to expand the ServiceNow platform Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow team members to develop global solutions Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions Prioritize multiple tasks effectively Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, stage, testing and production environments Assist in the definition of business requirements, scope, estimate work effort and determine duration of development activities Respond to L3 requests for support 24x7 for ServiceNow platform Team information (i.e., size of Team, Team make-up, future projects, Team strengths/weaknesses): This individual will be part of a larger Delivery Pod (approximately 10 people) to deliver Epics, Features and Stories in 10-week program increments. Experience/Minimum Requirements In-depth knowledge of the technical implementation of various ServiceNow ITSM Modules 10 years of ServiceNow application development experience 8 years of application development experience (using SDLC, Waterfall, Agile Scrum, etc.) 6 years of JavaScript experience Experience working for a company of similar scale and/or complexity Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities High energy, innovative individual who is motivated by challenging assignments Excellent verbal and written communication skills Effective at managing multiple issues with conflicting priorities under tight deadlines High attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical customers Ability to work well within a team to learn and share knowledge Preferred Skills (skills that would be beneficial but are not required): Experience with Configuration Management (CMDB), LDAP, SSO, MID Server, Inbound emails, Discovery Experience creating complex service catalogs and workflows Experience using ServiceNow flow designer and integration hub to automate fulfillment and resolution Experience in designing and developing SOAP and RESTful web services. Ability to take sparse vendor-specific API documentation and develop data integration capabilities with the ServiceNow platform. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Creation of Live Dashboards and associated analytics Advanced knowledge and understanding of IT concepts Experience creating ServiceNow scoped applications Additional Certifications (beneficial, but not required)- ITIL Foundation Certification (or higher) Advanced System Administration in ServiceNow Application Creation in ServiceNow ServiceNow Discovery Scripting in ServiceNow ServiceNow Orchestration ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Keywords: user interface information technology Virginia |
