Previous experience in banking/financial services industry highly preferred. Network Security Level 2 Engineer Five to seven years of industry experience in networking environment with an emphasis on Network Security; One (1) to two (2) years experience with Linux/UNIX; Basic networking technology skills along with a good understanding of cross platform technologies; Certified security engineer (typically CCSA or comparable); Certified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCNA or comparable); Technical ability to implement Firewall change requests and any potential related L2/L3 router changes; Technical ability to create and install Checkpoint objects for initial firewall policy; Technical ability to build and configure Firewall devices (Checkpoint, Juniper and Cisco); Technical ability to build and configure Proxies (McAfee, Bluecoat) and IDS; Technical ability to provide basic troubleshooting in security environment (Checkpoint, Juniper and Cisco); Technical ability to provide basic troubleshooting for connectivity issue Basic understanding of Ethernet, Spanning Tree, TCP/IP, Routing (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP); Technical ability to modifying routing protocols including NAT.
