Position: UI/UX Designer Location: Columbus, OH-Onsite (Local candidates only) Duration: Long Term contract Overview: We are seeking a UI/UX Designer for our CIMS 2.0 project, responsible for crafting intuitive, modern interfaces for desktop and mobile applications. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with business users, project managers, and developers in an agile environment to design and develop user-friendly interfaces. Responsibilities: Engage in the entire product development lifecycle from discovery to user research and UI design. Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to understand and define UI requirements. Brainstorm and conceptualize design solutions, creating wireframes and user-friendly prototypes. Conduct user research and testing to validate and iterate on design concepts. Ensure UI designs adhere to best practices and security standards. Participate in agile ceremonies and backlog grooming to align UI designs with development needs. Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills. Mandatory Requirements: 8 years of UI design experience for applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Advanced understanding of site architecture and intuitive UI design. Proficiency in Designer tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar tools. Experience in delivering products as part of cross-functional teams. Exposure to ASP.NET C# and secure UI design practices for ASP.NET MVC applications. 8 years of Agile methodology experience in project development. Desired Skills: UI/UX Certification is advantageous. Experience in native, cross-platform desktop and mobile app UI design. Exposure to ASP.NET Core MVC applications. Expertise in conversational workflow diagrams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
