Title: Cloud Security Engineer Location : Hybrid to the NY or NJ offices 3 days a week must be local Visa: All Except OPT/CPT Must have excellent comm skills. Position Summary: Key Responsibilities: Design and implement multi-cloud security architecture for cloud environments with a focus on Azure Design and review security controls to protect cloud-based systems, services and data Strong experience in applying security to cloud technologies (e.g., managing secrets, securing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, container security) Design and implement IAM policies to control access to cloud resources Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and participate in penetration testing Remediate and mitigate vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure Oversee and actively participate in the installation, configuration, and management of information security technologies Develop automations driving security remediations and outcomes Conduct regular technical risk assessments of systems and infrastructure Collaborate with developers to implement DevSecOps solutions and design a security focused SDLC Experience in implementing enterprise-wide vulnerability management solutions, including container-based vulnerability management Microsoft 365 (E5) and Azure background, including experience architecting security across multi-tenant environments. Experience building and securing Kubernetes environments. Develop, execute, and measure the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems. Manage information security projects as assigned. Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software. Identify, define, and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management. Perform research, formal evaluation, and prototyping of leading/emerging security technologies without oversight Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Azure security experience a must (Other cloud provider experience a plus) Proven work experience as an Azure security engineer Oversee security tooling in areas such as network security, identity and access management, continuous monitoring, vulnerability and cloud security posture management, asset management, and other cybersecurity tools/solutions o 5+ years of experience in a Security Engineering role Microsoft Azure security certifications a plus Critical thinker with ability to solve complex problems quickly and completely Excellent analytical and organization skills Strong written, oral, and inter-personal communication skills Must be highly self-motivated and directed, an independent thinker, organized and detail-oriented Ability to work independently with little guidance and in a collaborative team environment Sense of ownership and pride in your work and its impact on the companys success Good time-management skills Knowledge of applicable IT security, confidentiality and data privacy practices - maintains confidentiality of company-sensitive data Adherence to established processes and procedures Strong understanding of computer technologies and the direction of new technologies Competence with documenting, flowcharting and project management tools and procedures Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent technical education in a directly related area 5 to 7 years hands-on experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified Knowledge of Insurance a plus Thanks & Regards, Agraj |TALENDICA 44, Saratoga Lane, Monroe Township, NJ 08831 -- Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment information technology New Jersey New York |
