Risk Assessment experience (she DOES NOT want an auditor; anyone we submit that is an auditor will be rejected) Strong communication skills personality is going to be huge for her. This person will be facilitating a lot of meetings and needs to take a consultative approach. Security people tend to be very black and white, and she is trying to change that within her team. They need to take a collaborative approach and act more as a partner, security has been known as the No Police and they want to get out of that. They need someone who doesnt just say no, but instead educates the business on what can be done. They should be a good teacher/educator around the controls and share with them what would go wrong if they dont follow those. This person needs to be technical as they will be working with technologies across network, server, cloud, identity management, end user devices (laptops), etc. They need someone with hands on experience with technical solution designing.
