Job Description:
Lucid Motors is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in quality assurance, specializing in test automation. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining test automation frameworks from scratch, ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge automotive technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Automation Development: Create robust and scalable test automation frameworks from the ground up, utilizing the latest automation technologies and tools.

Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test strategies, define test plans, and identify test scenarios for various automotive systems.

Test Scripting: Develop and maintain automated test scripts, test cases, and test data that cover a wide range of scenarios, including functional, regression, and performance testing.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing throughout the development lifecycle.

Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies, and provide detailed reports to the development teams.

Test Execution and Analysis: Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Test Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.

Quality Assurance Standards: Ensure adherence to quality assurance best practices and standards while driving continuous improvement in the QA process.

Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the QA team, promoting knowledge sharing and skills development.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.

Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript.

Prior experience in Cypress OR Playwright framework.

Experience in developing automation frameworks and test scripts from scratch.

Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Automotive industry experience (optional but a plus).
