| From: Shikha Choudhary, ePeople Technologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hi, We have an urgent opening with Transmission Line Principal Engineer .and I have sent you job description, please go through it and let me know your comfort with it and also send me your updated resume ASAP Position: Transmission Line Principal Engineer Location: Remote Location: Long Term Contract Requirements: Experience in High Voltage Transmission Line design (7+ years); Transmissions design standardizing experience (creating standards, specifications, tutorials); Experience creating standards in Microsoft Suite; Experience with standard industry tools such as PLS-CADD; Experience with Auto-CAD, Primavera, and other software (preferred); Project Engineering/ Project management experience (preferred); PMP and/or P.E. (preferred); Valid driver`s license; Travel required within North America; Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Be responsible for the management of design for assigned transmission generation tie lines for Wind, Solar, and Battery Energy Storage, and for stand-alone transmission line projects; Work in the Engineering & Construction (E&C) Group and is responsible for transmission line projects from conception (Early Stage) through construction and commissioning (Execution); Work with the Early-Stage Project Manager to define and influence the project requirements and scope with the Development Group; Secure engineering consulting resources from a list of approved suppliers by developing a scope of work, securing bids and awarding work through Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Group; Coordinate with other project stakeholders to develop and secure a route, and secure the data and permits needed to design and build the line, including geotechnical data and lidar data; Be responsible for coordinating the engineering deliverables in support of competitive proposals, as well as design and construction of projects; Be responsible for representing E&Cs internal and external interests on assigned projects, including presentations/briefing on current progress, issues, and risk mitigation in meetings with various levels of management.
