The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes to ensure the efficiency, security, and scalability of our applications. The candidate should have hands-on experience with GCP services and a strong background in DevOps methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager to automate the provisioning and management of GCP resources. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for applications on GCP. Utilize Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools for CI/CD pipeline configuration. Containerization and Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker. Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management. Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring and alerting solutions for GCP resources using tools like Stackdriver or Prometheus. Configure logging and tracing mechanisms to ensure proper visibility into system behavior. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices for GCP environments. Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and policies. Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and optimize the deployment pipeline. Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions. Scripting and Automation: Write scripts and automation code in languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell to streamline operational tasks.
