Role: Product Owner (Mobile App) - POD Duration: 12 Months Work location: Reston, VA- 20191 - Hybrid (2 Days) Key Responsibilities: Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate product vision and strategy for mobile applications in alignment with company goals. Prioritize features, enhancements, and optimizations to ensure alignment with customer needs and business objectives. Product Backlog Management: Create and maintain a product backlog, ensuring the work is well understood by the development team and stakeholders. Prioritize and refine the product backlog to ensure that the team is working on items that add the most value to the customers and the business. Requirements and User Stories: Gather and document requirements and create user stories and acceptance criteria. Work closely with the UX/UI design team to ensure that user experience is at the forefront of product development. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration. Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on product development status and timelines. Agile and Scrum Leadership: Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the development team. Performance Analysis: Analyze product performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to inform product decisions. Recommend product enhancements based on data-driven analysis. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that products adhere to quality standards and quality assurance practices. Oversee the creation and execution of test plans to ensure product quality and reliability. Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain competitive. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Business, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or related role, preferably in the mobile app domain. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification is a plus. Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with development, design, and marketing teams. Proven ability to drive product success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
