Role: Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer Location: Albany, New York Duration: 24 Months Client: NY State Client Job ID#: HBITS-05-13215 Description Cloud Engineer consultant with experience in Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or other cloud architectures to assist the OSC Division of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Cloud Administration and Support Team (CAST). Duties Assist in maturing agencies cloud governances and policies. Gathering requirements and information from technical teams for plans for cloud development. Assist technical teams with evaluating and targeting application/servers for migration to Cloud. Assist in creating montitoring and alerting rules/practices. Assist in developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices. Identify, analyze and resolve cloud vulnerabilities. Assist with the migration of on-prem software into Azure. Assist with the migration of OCI IaaS into Azure. Troubleshoot and/or Assist with providing support for Cloud related products. Review existing cloud solutions regularly and make recommendations for improvements where needed. Mandatory Requirements Experience (8+ Years) Applies engineering disciplines to cloud computing and brings a systematic approach to concerns of commercialization, standardization, and governance of cloud computing applications. Leverages the methods and tools of engineering in conceiving, developing, operating and maintaining cloud computing systems and solutions. Uses the economics of cloud resources to solve business problems.
