Role: Software Engineer Location: St. Louis, MO - Hybrid Duration: Contract Required Skills: Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong vendor provided REST API integration with monitoring and automation tools In-depth knowledge of Programming Frameworks, Software Development Kit (SDK) and Programming languages Viz. Ruby, Python, Java Scripting and Scripting Experience of Cloud native integration using JSON, XML, YAML, SOAP. Job summary: The Development engineer is expected to write exporters for Prometheus Grafana using vendor provided REST API interface. Should be comfortable working with developers, testing team, engineers, architects, and product managers Producing high-quality software code base, scripts documentation Gather information from subject-matter experts towards technical and functional specifications and process documentation Implement integration requested by customer and analyse information collected Develop scripts to automate provisioning, operations and visualization Deploy updates and code fixes, bug fixes Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience Perform root cause analysis for production errors Investigate and resolve technical issues Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance Producing high-quality documentation Build a comprehensive Standard operating Process (SOP) in Client format Create and maintain the version control. Roles & Responsibilities: Will be reporting to Enterprise Architect for all reviews and development cycle. Will be working with Storage team for integrating storage and backup devices with Grafana tool. Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation including Software, Test use cases, Test Cycles, installation guides, Bug fix reports, system administration and troubleshooting guides. Should be able to create Architecture diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual aids to enhance the clarity of technical documentation Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
