Job Title: OpenStack Architect Location: Livingston, NJ (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ Months Visa Type: NO H1 Job Description:- Position Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Architect/Solution Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity with our esteemed SaaS client in Livingston, NJ. Key Responsibilities: Craft private cloud architectures and designs that prioritize high availability, automation, operational supportability, and scalability for a rapidly expanding digital enterprise. Advocate for the incorporation of cutting-edge technology and best practices in new product and solution development initiatives at the Business Unit or Enterprise level. Lead the evolution of current and strategic architectural blueprints, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Establish infrastructure technology architectures, standards, test plans, design templates, and governance protocols. Conduct thorough vendor and product analysis, evaluation, certification, and provide recommendations for the adoption of new or enhanced IT vendor products and services. Collaborate effectively with other IT disciplines to gather input when formulating solutions, roadmaps, and vision. Foster cross-functional collaboration through strong leadership skills. Qualifications: Over 10 years of experience in Infrastructure Architecture, covering network, compute (physical/VMware), database, and storage domains. Proficiency in advanced Openstack designs and hands-on experience in VMware to Openstack migrations. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) or software-defined infrastructure solutions. Expertise in crafting private cloud designs with a focus on resiliency, high availability, and security. Experience in developing private cloud migration strategies. Knowledge or experience with Kubernetes and understanding of its design concepts (desired). A strong advantage: Previous exposure to private cloud automation.
