Visa: only USC Client: T-Mobile Position: Cyber Security Engineer/Government Cyber Security Engineer III Location: Prefer Hybrid at primary location (Bellevue, WA OR Overland Park, KS OR Frisco, TX OR Denver, CO)-Local only Duration: 1 Year Visa: only USC MOI: Skype Need LinkedIn while submission The ideal candidate will also have the following specific technical security experience: Technical security-related subject-matter expertise and demonstrated mastery in at least Cloud (AWS)/Containerization, Data Storage/Database security, Microsegmentation, and at least one additional domain from: Network, Operating System (OS), Application, Data & Compliance, Encryption, and Infrastructure. Experience from no less than four (4) of the domains listed in the bullet above with an experience level no less than 3-5 years dedicated hands on experience. Experience with Python coding (or other modern coding language). The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (NTW) will help ensure that the network, software, systems, and infrastructure are designed and implemented to the highest security standards and per T-Mobile security policies. Leads security, policy, and technical design and solutioning on projects throughout the project lifecycle. Improves process efficiency by creating and implementing creative and sustainable changes to existing security methodologies. Leads the identification of security requirements & provides remediation guidance for security risks. Maintains visibility inside & outside of cybersecurity at an Engineering professional level. Strong experience in technical security controls assessment and remediation. Familiarity with the analysis of underlying technologies that form the solution necessary for the application of threat identification, analysis, and threat model design as necessary to protect person, asset, data, and the T-Mobile brand. Experience with Industry Standard threat modeling and kill chain analysis. Mentor's peers and junior team members in security technologies, enterprise solution design and facilitation, and effective customer interaction. Responsible for other duties or projects as assigned by the manager. Skillset Matrix: Technology Requirements (I.E Programs, systems, etc) - O365 provide by TMO, other system and program access would be project specific and will be provided as required. Preferred background/prior work experience Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in Cyber Security. Technical security-related subject-matter expertise and demonstrated mastery in at least Cloud (AWS)/Containerization, Data Storage/Database security, Microsegmentation, and at least one additional domain from: Network, Operating System (OS), Application, Data & Compliance, Encryption, and Infrastructure. Experience with Python coding (or other modern coding language). Ability to plan, organize & prioritize tasks to complete within established time frames. Ability to work independently without direct supervision, self-motivated, meets tight deadlines. Ability to learn & adapt to new or evolving technologies. Possessing technical security certifications and/or a well-recognized security professional, auditor, or manager certification such as the CISSP, the CISA or the CISM is a strong asset.
