Kubernetes Mastery: Effectively manage and optimize containerized applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of applications deployed on GKE. Site Reliability: Implement and champion best practices for site reliability engineering, monitor system performance, and proactively address issues to guarantee maximum uptime and system reliability. Automation Excellence: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, Bash, and Python to streamline operational processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual intervention. Incident Response: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement incident response plans, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents. Monitoring and Alerting: Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues, ensuring system stability and performance. Security Best Practices: Implement and adhere to security best practices, conduct regular security audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements, provide infrastructure support, and contribute to the overall success of projects. Qualifications: GCP Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services and solutions. Kubernetes Skills: Strong expertise in deploying and managing containerized applications using GKE. Infrastructure as Code: Proficient in creating and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform. Automation Tools: Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Bash scripting, and Python. Cloud Security: Familiarity with cloud security best practices and implementing security measures in GCP. Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, with excellent communication skills. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Remote Work: Proven ability to work effectively in a remote work environment, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes. Proficiency in Python. Relevant certifications in GCP and Kubernetes are a plus.
