Job Title: Scrum Master Location: Denver, CO REMOTE Duration: Long-Term Contract Responsibilities: Coordinating and facilitating all scrum events throughout the lifecycle Facilitating and participating in the daily scrum Helping the team maintain their burndown chart Shielding the team from interruptions during the sprint Removing obstacles that affect the team Walking the product owner through more technical user stories Encouraging collaboration between the scrum team and Product Owner Provide and communicate backlog tracking, monitor burndown charts and product metrics, forecast velocity, and oversee the flow of work related to tasks associated with each requirement (user story). Coordinate and facilitate all agile events making sure the team is working smoothly and every team member has tools to get their work done efficiently. Forecast the numbers of scrum deliverables possible in an iteration, which is based on evidence and reliable source. Remove product impediments while continuously negotiating with the product owner throughout the product development life cycle. Improve the efficiency of the development team. Provides continuous education to the scrum team on agile methodology. Manage scrum team conflicts while keeping the product on track within the agreed upon budget.
