You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux servers, ensuring their stability, security, and optimal performance. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions based on RHEL, collaborating with other teams to meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy, configure, and manage RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers in a virtualized or physical environment. - Design, optimize, and maintain system architecture, ensuring high availability and performance. - Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose and implement solutions. - Collaborate with other IT teams to implement infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements. - Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues, ensuring minimal downtime. - Maintain appropriate security measures and implement regular patching and upgrades. - Automate recurring system tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl. - Conduct system performance analysis and capacity planning to optimize resource allocation. - Create and maintain system documentation, including standard operating procedures and system configurations. Qualifications: - Strong experience in administering RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) in a production environment. - Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM. - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes is a plus. - Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and strong troubleshooting skills. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl for automating system tasks. - Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet. - Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or ELK stack. - Strong understanding of security principles and hands-on experience with security hardening. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. - Strong communication and team collaboration skills. Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - At least 5-7 years of experience as a RedHat Administrator or similar roles. - Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification is preferred.
