Position: Senior SQL BI Developer Location: Frederick, Maryland, USA 21704 Day one onsite Duration: 12+ Months Contract We have a max rate of $52/hr on C2C Need Passport number Along with Submission. We are looking for H1 B candidates from Third-party Vendors Detailed JD Must-Have 5+ years of expert TSQL/Procedural language and SSIS experience Strong SQL experience, specifically SQL Server 2012. Knowledge of data governance standards. Advanced TSQL coding is a must Hands on Dimensional Modeling Hands-on data transformation with SSIS and SQL Agent for automation and scheduling Good understanding of Data warehouse concepts. Azure working knowledge, don't need to be an expert Tableau knowledge is good to have Job Responsibilities Defines, develops, and implements automation of reports, processes, and interfaces. Designs and develops models to improve financial analysis and to project the financial impact of business changes. Interprets and translates accounting and finance business needs into effective applications and operational requirements to assist IT staff with the implementation of finance and accounting system solutions. Works with IT and Finance to perform testing and facilitate implementation of data warehouses. Identifies data gaps, errors, anomalies, inconsistencies, and redundancies by analyzing the content, structure, and relationships within data. Understands and compiles accurate data to present reports and assesses data quality. Applies a broad range of techniques and theories from business intelligence, data analysis and visualization, statistics, and predictive analytics to deliver actionable business insights based on large-scale data. Defines, captures, enriches, explores, and preps data to support desired metrics monitoring and reports. Troubleshoots and resolves problems related to accounting and finance systems and applications. Skills: Extensive knowledge of SQL SQL Server Management Studio experience Extensive knowledge of complex data models Strong data analysis/mining experience Strong data validation skills Strong Experience with ETL tools Driving curiosity and attention to detail Reporting Provides thorough, visible, rigorous, and transparent data reports and analysis. Tracks trends and provides recommendations for solutions based on findings. Interprets and communicates analytical insights to audiences with various analytical backgrounds using different but suitable communication methods for different audiences. Develops visually appealing and intuitive dashboards that provide visibility into key performance, risk, and control indicators across agency divisions and departments. Education: At least a bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required.
