| Title: Mainframe Assembler Location: Remote Interview Process: L1 followed by Code Test & Client interview. Note: Once the candidate gets shortlisted for this role, they have to be Onsite @Omaha, NE for initial 4 weeks for training purposes (5 days onsite) Job Description: Technical Skills: 10+ years experience in Mainframe Application Development (Assembler Language). Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for mainframe development (Assembler language). Leverages advanced/proven experience in the Assembler programming language across large and complex implementations and systems. Advanced experience in the required technical subject matter (Assembler programming language). Hands-on Assembler Development and enhancement experience n a Mainframe environment Mandatory to have the ability to extract business knowledge from Mainframe assembler code. Abel to explain assembler functionality to the Java team who migrate assembler code to the open system. WFO as per client requirement for all 5 days. Good to have relearned experience in mainframe projects. Java knowledge is an added advantage. Strong ability to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Writing and executing the unit test scenarios/cases to ensure the code migration. Deep understanding of all lifecycle components of migration projects Ability to present designs to peers and Product Owners for approval. Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Card domain experience is a plus.
