You will have the opportunity to leverage your skills to support new and innovative products. Roles and Responsibilities: The candidate will play an integral role in enhancing and maintaining enterprise Azure Cloud environment. Enhance and improve governance across azure subscriptions using Policy Driven Governance principles. This involves using built-in policies, creating custom policies as well as updating the current ones to suit the governance requirements. Provide solutions for automating manual tasks on the cloud such as budget alerts, governance non-compliance issues, secrets expiration, etc. This involves writing Azure Bicep code along with PowerShell to create automation solutions. Implement solutions to create security hardened Virtual Machine images. Implement solutions to protect access to azure resources as per client requirements. Implement solutions to integrate security tools (such as from Rapid7 or CrowdStrike) with azure subscriptions to provide security insights. Provide guidance and support to applications teams as they start leveraging azure cloud to build their solutions. Provide guidance and support to the network and security teams as required. Gather accurate information to explain concepts, and answer critical questions Advise on implementing Cloud best practices related to Governance, Operations and Security. Keep documentation up to date and relevant. Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of Azure Cloud hands on experience with strong technical knowledge of Azure services such as o Governance: Policies o Compute and Storage: Storage Accounts, Virtual Machines, Function Apps, App Services. o Networking: VNETs, Route Tables, Security Groups, Peering, VPN, etc. o Monitoring: Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics workspaces, Alerts, Action Groups. o Identity: Azure Active Directory Must be familiar with concepts such as o Defense in depth. o Policy Driven Governance o Azure Enterprise Landing Zones o Infrastructure as code - ARM templates or Bicep, etc. o Defense in depth Strong understanding of network and security concepts. Must be proactive, demonstrate initiative, and be a logical thinker. Ability to think critically and logically under pressure. Strong collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills. Nice to have: Certifications of any level in at least one cloud provider. Agile experience. Open-source contributions.
