Senior Level Full Stack Java developer demonstrated experience on prior projects with application integration (APIs and OpenShift containerization). Java/JEE patterns and frameworks Strength in the UI with CSS, HTML and JavaScript Exp with Vue, React or Angular Frameworks Experience with AWS Postgres database is a plus Communication/ Collaboration skills need to be strong - lots of coordinating between internal and external teams including vendor teams that are handling portions of the migration. Additionally since this work can be performed100% remote the candidate needs to be self-directed, able to self-manage remotely, be reliable and counted on to be on-task and deliver as needed, show up to meetings, be accountable remotely. Job Description: This requirement is for a Sr. Full Stack Developer with 7 (or more) years of experience with designing, coding, testing and support of our customer's premise and cloud based software, system, and/or information solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with external vendors developing solutions that interface with vendor's solution and cross insurance plans and business segments (Individual, Group, Over 65). Ideally a candidate that has already been there and done that in prior experience. Someone that doesn't require a long lead time to ramp up before they are able to contribute to the team's milestones. Required Experience: Proven experience with Java/JEE, patterns and frameworks. Collaborate with other IT specialists to rapidly develop and deliver stunning solutions that meet changing business needs. Perform all necessary discovery and fact finding to fully understand business problems and opportunities and execute all assignments with limited supervision. Provide input into solution buy vs. build recommendations to management when requested. Effectively communicate development and production issues to the project team, applicable vendors and/or the manager in a timely manner. Research and stay abreast of technology trends and IT best practices, with a focus on continuous learning. Hiring Requirements Knowledge of messaging engines like AWS pinpoint preferred Experience with software development tools (i.e. Open Source, Eclipse, MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, JBOSS DevStudio). Hiring Preferences: Experience with testing methodologies with the stated major development language(s)/technology. Experience with a major relational database management system preferred. Experience with AWS Postgres databases is a plus.
