Title : SDET Location : REMOTE Duration : Long Term MUST : API & Playwright Responsibilities: * Design, develop, document, and maintain automated tests and in-house software utilities * The SDET will adhere to established software engineering best practices and standards * Collaborate with other technical resources * Suggest improvements for processes, best practices, and standards * Design and develop automated tests and/or software tools * Understand and refine requirements * See opportunities to improve maintainability of test automation platform * Understand and apply test driven design concepts to test and debug automated solutions and software utilities developed by self and others * Deliver accurate and maintainable code for test automation and software utilities * The SDET will build CI/ CD pipelines using groovy scripts to handle execution of test suits * Responsible for Stakeholder Management including communicating to senior leaders in the domain area REQUIREMENTS: * BS/BA or equivalent education or experience * 10+ years of relevant hands-on SDET work experience with a specific focus on automation frameworks and automation testing * Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodology * Hands-on experience with crafting and maintaining node-based test suites that utilizes frameworks like Cypress or Webdriver.io or Puppeteer or Playwright * Must be proficient in coding in TypeScript, JavaScript on Node stack * Good to have: Hands on experience with crafting and maintaining java-based test suites that utilizes Selenium, Cucumber and jUnit to test Web UI applications * Expertise in web services testing and proven experience with RestAssured/Karate * Advanced Experience with Git + GitHub, CI/CD orchestration tooling (Jenkins, Travis, Circle or similar), Artifact Management (Artifactory, Nexus or similar) * Detailed understanding of build process for Java (SpringBoot), Node.js (Angular) * Good understanding of Docker containerization/ containerization of test execution * Highly collaborative individual with ability to influence others and build strong partner relationships internally, as well as externally * Hands-on experience driving innovation process from end-to-end * Background in DevOPS environment is preferred EDUCATION: Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
