WORKDAY IMPLEMENTATION/INTEGRATION Analyst

Location: RemoteOffice is located in West Des Moines, IA

Interview Style: First round with hiring manager, up to two interviews to follow with senior team

Project Purpose:

Provide accurate, timely, and convenient access to data. Replace ERP platform with an integrated system supporting the full suite of Wright family companies. Eliminate duplicate and manual processes. Gain efficiencies by leveraging automation whenever possible on a single database system with a single rules engine governing integrated data points. Increase customer convenience through one stop employee and manager self-service.   

Implementation date:  22Sept2024.

Workday Functional Scope:

Absence, Assets, Banking & Settlements, Benefits, Budgets, Customer Accounts & Contracts, Expenses, FDM /Financial Accounting, HCM, Integrations, Payroll (US), Prism, Projects/Project Billing , Supplier Accounts, Time Tracking.

We need an expert and experienced BA with the HR Workday Modules listed above in YELLOW.

In Scope: 

       Gross to Net Payroll processing 

       State, local and Federal Tax table automatic updates & remittances 

       Absence Management 

       Time Management 

       Project & Job Costing 

       External data feeds to Payroll for employee compensation 

       Benefits Administration 

       Accounts Receivable  

       External data feed to A/R for revenue recognition 

       Accounts Payable 

       Customer Management 

       Vendor Management 

       Asset Management 

       Travel Expenses

       Analytics & Reporting 

       Security profiles 

 Out of Scope:

                Spend Management (potential future phase) 

       Inventory Management 

       Procurement Processes 

                Canada Payroll and Time (future phase) 

                Learning Management System 

                Historical data conversion, except when necessary for W2 processing or Financial fiscal year end close.  

Role Description

The Sr. Business Analyst will play an important role for implementation of the Workday ERP system. This position is part of the implementation team within Wright to replace the existing ERP eCMS. eCMS has been in production for 40 year and has been highly customized.  

Responsibilities
Support functions through changes to existing 50+ integrations for applications.
Engage in business process mapping and collaborate with Finance, HR & the enterprise to document future state processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Assist Workday implementation with securing requirements using their requirements gathering method and processes.
Perform analysis to determine impacts on systems with the transition to Workday.
Assist project team & implementation partner with the elicitation of requirements and documentation of use cases. 
Coordinate activities between cross-functional teams, internal & external stakeholders, and vendors.
Write test cases.
Execute test cases.
Manage test cases and defects through a defect management process.

Experience
Hands-on experience as a Business Analyst working with Workday is a must.
Smartsheet experience is a must.
Ability to hit the ground running is a must.
Ability to work in fast paced environment.
Ability to work in traditional waterfall project.
10+ years of business analysis experience.
5+ years of experience working with enterprise-level projects.
Advanced knowledge of business process improvement.
Experience working on diverse, cross-functional teams leading the elicitation of business requirements and needs, analyzing information skillfully, and developing solutions, and making recommendations to solve complex business problems.
Excellent communication skills, including group presentation and facilitation.
Ability to employ active listening and be clear and positive during consensus building.
Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multitask effectively.
Expert with Office 365 tooling, MS Teams, Visio.
Experience developing, implementing, supporting, and/or managing large, complex operational systems within the Finance and/or Human functions.
Ability to troubleshoot highly complex problems with larger ERP systems.
Change Management (mindsets & behaviors) experience and understanding.
