Job Role: Assembler (Mainframe) Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Contract Note: Once candidate gets shortlisted for this role, they have to be in Onsite @Omaha, NE for initial 4 weeks for a training purpose (5 days onsite, No expenses paid) Job Description: 10+ years experience in Mainframe Application Development (Assembler Language). Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for mainframe development (Assembler language). Leverages advanced / proven experience in the Assembler programming language across large and complex implementations and systems. Advanced experience in the required technical subject matter (Assembler programming language). Hands-on Assembler Development and enhancement experience n Mainframe environment Mandatory to have ability to extract business knowledge from Mainframe assembler code. Abel to explain assembler functionality to Java team who migrate assembler code to open system. WFO as per client requirement for all 5 days. Good to have relearn experience in mainframe projects. Java knowledge is added advantage. Strong ability to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specification. Writing and executing the unit test scenarios/cases to ensure the code migration. Deep understanding of all lifecycle components of migration projects Ability to present designs to peers and Product Owner for approval.
