Requirements: This developer is a replacement for existing contractor with Beeline Id 43736 who is working on to build and support Tessera platform and is part of team Nerdwhal. This Platforms is very critical to support Card business intents under Customer Management and currently going through re-architecture and Gen3 migration. This team has only 3 associates and 1 contractor and we need replacement to complete and support Tessera batch Gen3 migration. We are in process of migrating these platforms to new Gen3 account and with new architecture, which will reduce the Run The Engine work and eliminate the need for this support team. Top Skills: 1. Scala 2. Java 3. Spark 4. Big Data Expertise Must Have: (3-4 years of exp.) Traditional Programming role focused on writing code in Scala and Java (not a support role) AWS> lambda, dynamo db, Glue Java/Scala Spark Expertise working in a Big Data Environment (Kafka and live data streaming) Nice to Have: Python Splunk or new relic Kafka Additional Duties: Their responsibilities include, building new actions, supporting migration to GEN3 bug fixes & monitoring and alert setup notifying stakeholders about the failure etc. Day in the life: Assist migration of existing application from Kubernetes to glue through spark programming.
