In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing SAP Finance modules with a specific focus on payroll functionality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration of payroll processes within the SAP system. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SAP Finance modules, extensive experience in payroll management, and the ability to provide expert guidance on payroll-related matters within the SAP environment. Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements related to payroll processes and translate them into SAP system configurations. Configure and customize SAP Finance modules, with a specific focus on payroll functionality, to meet business needs and ensure accurate payroll processing. Conduct end-to-end testing of payroll processes within the SAP system, identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies, and ensure system stability. Provide expert guidance and support to payroll administrators and end-users on SAP Finance modules, including payroll configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting. Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, and ensure the SAP system remains compliant. Collaborate with the IT team to implement system upgrades, enhancements, and patches related to SAP Finance modules and payroll functionality. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate payroll administrators and end-users on SAP Finance modules and best practices for payroll management. Analyze payroll data and generate reports using SAP reporting tools, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements and cost optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and IT, to integrate payroll processes with other SAP modules and ensure data consistency and accuracy. Assist with payroll-related audits, ensuring adherence to internal controls, data integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations. Provide support during payroll processing cycles, addressing any system issues, troubleshooting errors, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Extensive experience working with SAP Finance modules, including deep knowledge of payroll functionality and configuration within the SAP system. Strong understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements. Proven experience in implementing and managing payroll processes within the SAP environment. Proficiency in SAP Finance modules, including SAP Payroll and related submodules. Familiarity with SAP HCM (Human Capital Management) and integration points with SAP Finance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex payroll data and troubleshoot system issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to payroll. Professional certifications in SAP Finance or Payroll (such as SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting with SAP ERP) are desirable.
