LINKEDIN PROFILE with PICTURE We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BI Reports Developer/QA - PowerBI, BOBJ to join our Information Technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and validating reports generated using Business Objects (BOBJ) and Power BI within the Delta Dental system. The BI Reports Developer/QA - PowerBI, BOBJ will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of business reports to support decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans for reports generated through BOBJ and Power BI. Collaborate with business analysts and report developers to understand report requirements and functionality. Test Execution: Execute test cases to validate the accuracy and completeness of reports. Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of existing reports after system upgrades or changes. Identify, document, and track issues and defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve them. Data Validation: Verify the integrity of data used in reports by comparing against source systems and data warehouses. Ensure that data extraction, transformation, and loading processes align with reporting requirements. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to assess the speed and efficiency of report generation. Optimize reports for better performance and responsiveness. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and testing results. Develop user guides and documentation for end-users on report usage and troubleshooting. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and system administrators, to ensure seamless integration of reports into the Delta Dental system. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on report usage and troubleshooting. Address and resolve end-user inquiries related to report functionality. Qualifications: Minimum 7 Years of experience Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in testing reports generated through Business Objects (BOBJ) and Power BI. Strong SQL skills and data querying tools. Report Requirement Analysis skills are essential Familiarity with Delta Dental systems and dental insurance industry practices is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with test automation tools is desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
