Front End Web Developer Location: Phoenix, AZ (Remote, Local Only) Pay Rate: $60/hr on C2C Type: 6mon CTH Visa: USC/GC Only Experience and Education: Responsibilities: Professional experience with WordPress plugin development, custom theme development, architecture, and standards. Strong familiarity with JavaScript (vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, ES6, etc.). Intermediate knowledge of modern web development tools: HTML5, CSS3, and JSON. Advanced proficiency with PHP and MySQL, including modern PHP practices (OOP, autoloading, namespacing, traits, interfaces, etc). Experience with responsive front-end frameworks (i.e., Bootstrap, Foundation by ZURB). Knowledge of SCSS compilers and modern web workflow tools. Ability to use and extend build tools like gulp and webpack. Familiarity with package managers such as Composer and NPM. Experience integrating web and third-party APIs. Website quality control testing, browser compatibility testing, and debugging experience. Required Skills: BS or MS in Computer Science or related discipline or related work experience. Someone from Food or Restaurant domain client is required with Loyalty or Reward program experience. 2-year college degree; Bachelors Degree desirable. 3+ years overall experience in software engineering. 3+ experience in Web site design and development. Nice To Have: Knowledge and familiarity with layout systems such as CSS Grid or Flexbox. Experience with the following plugins: Toolset and Contact Form 7. Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and debugging best practices. Experience with distributed version control systems (the Azure stack in particular: Atlassian, and Git repositories in general). Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Segment, and Braze is a plus.
